A peek inside

A book that reads like a life

Meet Grandpa Joe, our sample book. His story runs from a kite on Miller’s Hill in 1947 to tomatoes with the grandkids in 2016. The pictures are illustrations, and the family is fictional.

An open book spread: a 1947 illustration of a boy flying a kite and a 1963 illustration of a red pickup truck, each with a short story underneath
One photo, one story, every pageEach page pairs a photo with the year and the story behind it, so the book reads like a life told in order.
A decade-by-decade timeline for Grandpa Joe showing which decades have photos and which are still empty, with a button to ask family for photos
See the missing yearsThe timeline shows which decades are still empty and lets you ask the right relative for photos.
A few typed words, 1963, Dad's first truck, so proud, turned into a warm suggested story
Help with the wordsType a few words and get a warm caption to keep, change, or skip.
The last pages of the book: a QR code linking to the online timeline and a Made with love by page
The story keeps going onlineAn optional QR code page opens the living timeline, where family can keep adding memories.

How it works

From a shoebox of photos to a book on the shelf

1

Pick a book type

A memorial, a wedding, a baby’s first year, a retirement, or any other chapter of life.

2

Add a photo per page

Choose the year, add the photo, and jot down the story. A few words are enough, and writing help is there when you need it.

3

Fill the gaps together

See which years are still empty and send family a link so they can add their own photos and memories.

4

Hold it in your hands

We print it as a hardcover keepsake, with an optional QR code that opens the online timeline.

Questions

Good to know

When can I make a book?

We’re building Years Stitched now. Join the waitlist and you’ll get an email as soon as it opens, along with an early invite to try it.

How much will it cost?

We’ll share pricing when we launch. People on the waitlist will hear first.

Can family members add their own photos?

Yes. You can send relatives a link so they can add photos and memories from the years you’re missing, without needing to be in the same place.

Do I have to write the stories myself?

A few words are enough. Writing help can turn a quick note like “1963, Dad’s first truck, so proud” into a warm caption that you can keep, change, or skip.

What happens to my email address?

We only use it to tell you about the launch. We never sell or share it, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
